Rachana Narayanankutty is an actor and television anchor from Kerala, India. She became popular through the television series 'Marimayam'. Rachana was born on April 4, 1983 in Thrissur City to Narayanankutty and Narayani. Rachana completed her schooling from GGHS Wadakanchery in 1998, and she completed her graduation from Sri Vyasa NSS College, Wadakanchery. Rachana had only intended to act in a single episode of Marimayam, was taken aback by the overwhelming response her character got, and decided to continue.She is the youngest of her parents and she has a brother named Rajinikanth. She married Arun Sadasivan in January 2011. She filed for divorce in family court on 14 March 2012. She took dance classes before she was cast into the television series.She was a Communicative English teacher in Devamatha, a CBSE School situated in thrissur district.
